A-Level Business follows on from GCSE Business, although GCSE Business is not a requirement for this course. The course aims to develop an ethusiasum for studying business and, though the themes studied, gives the students a holistics understanding of business in a range of contexts. Students will develop a critical understanding of organisations and their ability to meet society's needs and wants, and understand that business behaviour can be studied from a range of perspectives. Students will get the opportunity to generate enterprising and creative approaches to business opportunities, problems and issues and be aware of the ethical dilemmas and responsibilites faced by organisations and individuals. There is a quantitative element to the course too and students will apply numerical skills in a range if business contexts
